Burbank Dental Implant Update – Photo Series Shows an Implant Fusing to the Upper Jawbone
This is a great visual example of an implant fusing or “osseointegrating” to the jaw. You can easily see the difference.
This lovely elderly woman came to see me with a tooth that broke down to the gum.
In one appointment. I extract the remaining root and placed an immediate dental implant into the socket and made a tooth also.
***Note the spaces around the newly placed implant***
After 2 months of healing, the space around the implant is gone! (see below)
Healing time varies, but a successful dental implant should look like this. In fact, over time, the bone will look better and better.
